Nestled in a small village at the foot of the black mountain, in the heart of the Minervois, Castle Agel was part of the castles that prolonged resistance vassal lords of the count of Toulouse at the time of the Albigensian crusade.
In the heart of the Languedoc, 10 km from Minerve, Castle Agel is a superb medieval castle, the oldest part is the twelfth century.
It is composed of a central building, four towers and a dovecote and is located in the village centre.
Its park terraces of 2 ha, open to the valley of the Quit and on the mountain of Pech, can wander in there or dip in the pool.
